A Curvy Girls Summer Outfits: Shirts, Shorts and Jeans

So, if you haven't read the first part of this post, then you might be shocked to realize I am not a size 0. Oh wait no shock? Didn't think so. =] But I am okay with it! It took me some time and some learning but I finally have found a style and a fashion that makes me confortable with my body and proud to show it off. So, without talking about all the mushy stuff I gabbed about in the first post, here is what I will be wearing for the summer:
Top Left: Shirt from Old Navy Shorts from American Eagle. Shirt and Shorts from American Eagle. Shirt (Studded Shoulders that you cant see well in the photo) Forever 21 and Shorts American Eagle. Shirt Forever 21 Shorts American Eagle.
Bottom Left: Shirts all from Forever 21 and Jeggings from Hot topic.
I found that I dont need to hide from shorts, but maybe not  have them as short! These midi shorts are not only the perfect length, but super stretchy! Jeggings are much thinner, and more confortable, (not to mention you avoid the muffin top in most stretchy jeggings which is a total plus!) than jeans so I find they are perfect for the summer when your not feeling the bare leg look. With lightly thicker arms, I found that muscle cut type tanks and shirts with rolled/cuffed sleeves are very flattering in most cases. And not to mention comfortable, which is my main goal when I have to be out of my sweatpants or pajama bottoms.

I am in no way saying I am a fashionable person. I have just finally found a style that suits my body and makes me happy. So really the point to these posts are to make others realize, that if they gain a pound or two its not the end of the world! There are cute cloths out there for any size and it is all a matter of what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful! Confidence is key when rocking any outfit, so of course you have to have that and a beautiful smile! So cheesy, but really it is just so true

Stay beautiful and confident,
K

The 5 Shows We Can Stand to Watch Together!

So, we are a very obnoxiously similar couple. But, when it comes to shows, we can almost never stand to watch the same thing. Movies, we love almost the same stuff, always agree on which movie to pop in or rent. But not TV. Like we completely avoid each others shows. Which works okay because Korina is a TV junkie and Dillon works a lot so there is always time for her to sneak in those guilty pleasure shows. But, there are five shows (and trust us, thinking of 5 was like pulling teeth) that we actually sit down and watch together.

1. Once Upon A Time: Now this show started out being a favorite of Korina. Loved it and watched it when it came on Hulu immediately (we dont have cable, so to Hulu and Netflix, and some other sites, we go!). But, being the Disney freaks we are, it was only a matter of time before Dillon would be hooked. He was "forced" to watch the first episode and reluctantly admitted that he loved it. You see, in our house, everything is a game or a competition. So admitting he loved it was admitting defeat! Muahaha! But he couldn't help it. If you love mystery, fairy tales, an attractive and talented cast- you will love this show. We are so sad that it is off season now. BOOOOO!

2. Dr. Who: Now this show was an accident. We ran out of things to watch on Netflix and needed something on while cleaning. BIG MISTAKE. No cleaning got done. We sat on our butts and went through like 10 episodes before realizing it. Now, Sci-Fi as in space is really not our thing. Not that we hate it or avoid it, just doesn't pop on our radar much. But seriously, this show just hooks you and never lets you go. We both CRIED, yes thats right we are admitting that to anyone who reads this blog no judgement, during numerous episodes. But if your a Whovian, you totally get it and know what we are talking about! We have never been so emotionally invested in a show. Like feelings were heart, tears were shed, angry slurs were yelled. And we can't even explain really what the show is about, its too confusing if we tried. We will say this: It is about a madman in a box......

3. How I Met Your Mother: Ever want to know what it is like hanging out with us....I mean just hypothetically, not saying we are cool enough for strangers to really wonder.....watch this show. We are Marshell and Lily down to the slap bet commissioning and inability to make couple friends. It's sorta sad really. Nah it's awesome, who are we kidding!!! This show is so funny. And our humor tends to differ slightly. We both laugh and carry on during this show. It is about 5 friends who get in ridiculous situations and just be the best, funniest, friends ever. That sounds so cheesy, and there is a little cheese, but a lot of adult fun. It just picks us up on a bad day, so lighthearted most the time. I mean who doesn't want a Ted, Robin, and Barney to add to their group...we have been looking!

4. American Dad: Now here is where we get a lot of girls going "WHAT?!!" and "EW!!!". Korina has the humor of a boy sometimes, and American Dad fills that little teenage boy part of her mind. It is crude  yes, but it is so funny! I mean, it actually makes you think for a change, unlike most shows in its genre, and its got stupid jokes. Yes, they are gross most the times so be aware. But if you want to just shut off and get your guilty laughs out, this is the way to do it. You don't have to admit you watch it, that can be your guilty pleasure. But just give it a chance because we are glad we did.

5. Bones: Now Korina has beat this show to death. She has to watch TV to sleep, and since she has seen every episode about 10 times, thats what she usually chooses. But, through that, Dillon couldn't help but be a fan. He was forced! Now, the old episodes aren't his favorite (he has seen them about 10 times as well) but the new ones he enjoys. This is Korina's favorite show hands down. It has everything she loves, murder, a hot guy, mystery, humor, a hot guy, crime, and don't forget the hot guy....doesn't get much better then that! On any given day these are the kind of shows Korina is watching, and they usually are pretty much hated by Dillon, but Bones has a place deep, deep, deep down in his heart! =]

So there you have it, the shows we can stand to watch with one another! Do you have any suggestions?! I mean seriously we need more then 5!!! Try these shows out if you haven't! They are highly enjoyable =]

Three beers to enjoy this summer!

So when it comes to beer I’m kind of picky.  I love trying new and different craft beers so I figured I would share a few of the brews I’m going to be enjoying this summer with you so you can check out some great new beers too! (If you’re within the legal drinking age that is.)

From Atlanta Georgia comes the Sweet Water brewing companies “420 Extra Pale Ale”.  This beer is amazingly smooth with a light citrus scent and taste that’s perfect for hot days on the (porch, river, beach, etc).  With a really nice golden yellow color and a great head this beer really compliments the hot days of summer.

This was my first apple beer and I was pleasantly impressed with the taste.  The taste is smooth with the crispness of fresh apples and has very little bight to it.  This beer is perfect for after a long day of hard work. Crisp, golden, and refreshing this ale is excellent for summer afternoons.

I am an amber fan all the way and when I noticed this brew in the store the other day I picked it up on the spot.  I was immediately impressed with the smell, deep amber color, as well as the fact that it poured incredibly smooth and left a great head.  The taste was delicious with just a touch of bitterness in the after taste.  This beer would be an awesome choice to try out on the cooler summer night spent out with friends.

I don’t claim to be a beer connoisseur, but I do enjoy good quality beers and am always on the hunt for something new!

Stay fresh.  Stay awesome.

A Day in the Life....One Direction Concert.

So, we are going to start this series where, basically, any time we do anything cool we document it and tell you all about it. Seems simple! So, I figured the first one should be today since one Wednesday I went to the One Direction concert with my little sister! So, we made it a family thing:

After work Dillon and I met up with my family and rode to Nashville. It's like a 45 minute drive from where we live, so not far at all.

First stop: Food!
We went to this cute little place called Bella Napoli. Little Italian place in the middle of these little shops. Super cute. Kind of secluded. And the weather was great so we ate outside =]

So, next stop was just next door to a little gelato place called LegatoGelato (I am pretty sure thats what it is tehe) for some tasty gelato. We got vanilla and hazelnut. SO GOOD!! I mean seriously delicious.
Then it was on to the concert. It was at Bridgestone Arena, which is HUGE. We got near it and it was like every 13 year old girl in the whole state was there. So crazy! We pushed through got shirts, and went searching for our seats. Now these tickets were bought like a year ago and we were told we were in the nosebleeds. Which, was kind of true, we were high up, but the angle of our seats couldn't have been more perfect. We could see everything. Not to mention, because we were higher up, no one stood up really and got in our way. We are short ladies so people standing up in front of us is a no no!
Now, let me explain something. This was a concert for preteens mostly, a lot of parents just dropped them off. I felt like the oldest person there. So every time a stagehand walked on the stage, or the screen showed the logo, it was like the loudest screaming mess I have ever heard. I mean like ear splitting screams. I am so so so thankful that my mom had given me ear plugs. It wasn't because I was some old lady who doesn't like loud music, it was to protect my poor ears from the crazy girl screams!!!

So anyways, the opening act came on: 5 Seconds to Summer. They were pretty good! Boy band type look, but they all played their own instruments. So they were a band rather then a boy band. Pop-Punky type band. I really enjoyed them!
Then it was time to wait for One Direction. So, we snapped a quick picture of the shoes I made for us! They were a hit at the show, we got a lot of compliments!
Then the boys came! And I thought the screaming was bad for the commercials on the screen....that was nothing compared to when the boys actually showed up. I mean seriously! You cannot even imagine. But let me tell you, while they are not my favorite musicians out there, they sure know how to put on a show. I like One Direction, not a fan girl like my sister, but I do enjoy them. But they were so entertaining. And they acted like their age on stage, not like some boys trying to be older. They goofed off, played around, made jokes, danced stupid...just all around a funny little show. And their stage set up was amazing. Huge screens, light shows, the works! My sister cried when they came on. Which, considering the amount of 1D merchandise in her room alone, was not a surprise. She is 13 so I expected nothing less when these little heartthrobs were actually in the same arena as her. I did laugh at her though, couldn't help it. I didn't cry when I saw Hanson and N'SYNC in concert! haha.

Here is a little clip from my phone from the concert, my favorite song of theirs! =]

So thats it! That was One Direction. It was a surprisingly good show and we had A LOT of fun! So, hopefully you like the first "A Day in the Life" post! And next Friday I will continue my Curvy Girls OOTD series! =]

Have fun and stay beautiful

Summer Bucket List

Summer time is here and you know what that means, barbecues, three-day weekends, and dream destinations.  Summer is a great time to get out that bucket list and make plans to get the most out of the summer of 2013! Every season we try and make a bucket list. Try and do some, or most of it whenever we have the free time. Its fun to do as a couple, finding out what the other loves to do during that season, what they did as a kid, and any traditions. It's a great tradition starter for any couple whether your dating, engaged, newlyweds or an old married couple! It is also a great thing to make with friends! So, we figured we would post ours and maybe give you some ides for your own!  Here is our summer bucket list ideas!

1: Go on a road trip!
Whenever were going to be in the car for more than an hour we spend time making a road trip mix, any excuse to make a play list we take advantage of!  Road trips are great because they allow you to get away from your town, if even for a weekend, and do something outside of the mundane.  Find notable places four or five hours away from you and set out on an adventure with your guy/girl or maybe a group of friends.  Just stay away from long abandoned roads in Texas ::cough:: Texas Chainsaw Massacre ::coughcough::
We’re going try and go to Johnson City, Tn and Atlanta, GA to see some friends.

2: Spend a day at a theme park or water park!
Depending on where you live, depends on if you can do this. But, I mean, you can kill two birds with one stone and make this a road trip too! Anyways, summer is hot. I am sure you have noticed. So water parks and pools are a MUST. Try and cool down and have fun at the same time!
In late July we’re going to try and go to Holiday World, which is in Santa Claus, IN. yes there is a Santa Clause, IN. Holiday World is a really great park because not only is it a theme park with world class wooden roller coasters but it also has a full water park attached to it! I have yet to mention that one ticket price gets you into both parks!  Other notable parks to try out:
Kings Island- Ohio
Cedar Point- Ohio
Hershey Park- Pennsylvania
Bush gardens Williams Burg- Virginia
Disney World- Florida
Disney Land- California
Schlitterbahn Water Park-Texas
Water World-Colorado

3:  BOOKS!
Whether your setting includes white sand beaches or a picnic blanket under a weeping willow a good book can add flavor and thought to any summer day.  Here are a few of our favorites!
Korina suggests:
-The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
-Divergent and Insurgent by Veronica Roth
-The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Dillon Suggests:
-The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling
            -Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk

4: Fun day adventures!
Have a day when your off work and just want to do something that isn't sitting in the house?! I know we both have those days! So here is some of the things on our list to do! Doesn't have to cost money or be a big production, just gets you off the couch and out of the house =]
-Take your pooches to a pooch park
            -Have a bon fire
            -Go GEO-Caching
-Make a slip and slide in your yard with tarps, a watering hose, and joy dish soap
-Walks in the park at night time to count stars
-Find a drive in movie of enjoy a movie in the park
-Go to a fair or traveling carnival
            -Make fresh Lemonade

            -Go for a walk
            -Sun tan in your yard

There is just so much fun to do in the summer time! This is just a little snippet of our bucket list for summer. What is on your list?! We love getting ideas!

Have a great summer!

Hair products that I hate, love, and was pleasantly surprised by!

Today I wanted to talk about some products for hair styling that I hate, that I love, and that I was really surprised by!

Got 2b Chaotic Fiber Gum.  (Hate)
I will never buy or use this product again.  I was in the mood to try a new product a while back and found this.  Being a fan of fiber products for hair styling I figured I would try it out, also it was $4.00 so I figured why not.  The hold is poor, it has a high shine, and just makes my hair unbelievably greasy.  Needless to say I got what I paid for.  And I was really surprised because the products by Got 2b that Korina uses work for her very well.

American Crew Fiber. (Love)
This product is time tested and true.  Low shine and high hold.  Quality is really the word that comes to mind when I think about this product.  One of the few products I have used that have survived a double better than I have in the restaurant industry!  At roughly $17, depending on where you can find it, you really do get what you pay for here, and it lasts forever because a small amount goes a long way!

AXE Natural Look.  (Surprised)
Once again I decided to try a new product for my hair, and was, well, unbelievably surprised!  Usually I tend to stay away from axe products at all cost.  But I had a friend suggest I try it out and at first after I bought it I wasn’t impressed but after letting it set in my hair for a few minutes I found it extremely pliable and natural.  Low shine and high hold makes this product a really great buy!  And at roughly $9, depending on where you find it, it really is a steal.

So there were my hair product recommendations!  Hope you enjoyed!

Stay fresh.  Stay awesome.

A Curvy Girl's Summer Outfits: Dresses and Skirts

So, I am a curvier girl. I am not stick skinny by any means. When we got married, I gained quite a bit of weight. I had a hard time trying to process that I did not fit in my size 2 jeans anymore and small shirts. For the longest time I just kept squeezing myself in these outfits from before I gained the weight. Then I would look in the mirror and hate what I saw. So, I did some looking and finally found outfits that suited my body and made me feel confident! So I finally made the effort to dress more to my body type. Not everyone can be blessed to be a size 0. And that is okay! We just have a little more to love if you ask me! =]

So, this is the first summer since my moment of clarity about my size. My birthday was in May, so Dillon took that opportunity to give me a little summer shopping spree. It is so hot here in Tennessee that dresses and skirts, especially ones a thin jersey material, can really feel wonderful in the heat. And you can dress them up or down with your shoes and accessories. This is what I came out with:

From Left: Dress from Forever 21, Scarf from Old Navy/ Dress from Forever 21/ Dress from Forever 21/ Shirt from Target, Vest from Forever 21, Skirt from Target/ Dress from Forever 21.

I learned that I have a large chest (hey nothing wrong with that!), a smaller waist, but a large "tire" or "muffin top"/ or to normal people, hips. My thighs are kinda large but small calves. I am just all around a crazy size! But I found that skater skirts, or dresses cut in the skater style are perfect for my body. It comes in on the spots that are small, and goes out where I don't want some tighter clothing. A flowy shirt paired with a skirt can thin you out and still look cute with that "retro" style. Dresses that cut only a little above the knee are not only flattering, but so comfortable.

I will keep doing these posts, and next week will be shirts and shorts! I love seeing what others wear and getting ideas and such from other girls who are just like me.

Stay beautiful and most of all CONFIDENT!

DIY: Paint Sample Calendar

So, we love to decorate our little apartment to try and make it a little less "rented" and more like home! We have a very eclectic, and unfortunately expensive taste. We don't mean to have expensive taste, it just happens!!! We can look at an entire store full of stuff and find the one thing we like, and it will happen to be the most expensive item in the whole store! We are on a tight budget, so decorating exactly how we want is just not in the cards right now. So, we make do! We find things we like, and try and make it ourselves. Doesn't always go according to plan, but we get some cute things done! Like this calendar! Buying a calendar of this size can get pretty pricey. So we decided to give it a go and make one ourselves! So, we thought we would share our latest project!

Not going to even lie to you, it was SO hard to get a good picture of this thing!!! So I promise it looks better in person!
So here is what you will need:
-Frame from Goodwill or an Antique store (it can have a plastic or glass front)
-Paint samples (any color you want, we opted for the "ombre" look!)
-Glue or glue dots (we used glue dots from the scrapbook section that we had around our craft room)
-Spray paint of your choice for the actual frame
-A ruler
-Scissors
-Dry Erase markers for after your project is done!
-Poster Board

So, the first thing you do is head to your local Goodwill or Antique store and find a frame. This is just the cheaper way to do it. If you want, you can just find a big frame at a store and get it there. But we opted for the inexpensive way! Found this frame at Goodwill for $4.99 and got 50% off on top of that. Bargain! So, we took out the, oh so cute, picture that was already there and set it aside. Take out the glass or plastic of the frame and get ready to paint it.

Next, take a paint that you like the color of or that matches your room and paint that frame up! Now, if you were lucky and found a frame that you just loved and don't need to paint; don't! We just did this because we wanted a white frame that would match our room. So, take this bad boy outside and paint it! Depending on the type of spray paint you have will dictate how many coats of paint you will need. We did about 3 and it was perfect! Let that lay outside and dry, or put it in your bathroom to dry. We had to lock it up inside the bathroom so that our little critters wouldn't mess with it.
While that is drying, you can move on the to next steps.

So we start with our paint samples, that are totally free from any hardware store or WalMart. Just walk on in and take as many as you will need. We had 30 different colors. You can pick whatever colors you want. We have quite a bright bedroom set so we went for the ombre in all sorts of bright colors. Cut them to whatever size will fit in your frame. We cut them so you could fit 6 across and 5 down. If we had found a bigger frame, I would have preferred doing 7 across.

Anyways! Cut them up all even and pretty. This is probably the hardest part just trying to get them all the same size, as well as the right size so that they all fit in the frame. So this step you should take your time and really pay attention and measure. If you don't want to mess with the measuring and squares, you can totally cut them in whatever shape you want!

Then, line them up and arrange them how you want to have them on the frame.
This took me FOREVER! We wanted to make sure the ombre was right and the colors were in the right spot. Just being picky! This part will go faster if you pick one color. haha! Then, take your poster board and cut it to size so it fits in your frame. Take your glue dots or glue and glue the paint samples on to the poster board. You can arrange these however you want. You can make it all random and tilted, or take the time to make them straight and perfect like store bought calendars. That's what we decided to do!

And that's it!!! We love ours and the picture does not do it justice! Ours had a plastic front, and I think the marker would work better on glass, but it still works just fine. It is a nice addition to our bedroom and it was a fun little craft to do together! We had fun and it is just one less thing we have to spend loads of money on!

If you use this tutorial let us know! We would love to know that our little craft made it into the homes of others!

Every Man Jack: Shave Crème Review.

In the ever-present fight to keep our faces looking good and feeling well we often forget how much shaving takes a toll on our skin.  Enter Every Man Jack shaving crème.  For a long time I have been looking for a great shave crème that didn’t cost $30.00 and finally came to find EMJ!  EMJ is a crème so it is going to be less harsh on your skin than a foam or a gel and has marine extracts in it to help sooth and restore the top lair of skin that is often stripped away while shaving conventionally.  Add the other vitamins and nutrients, like: Squalane, olive oil, chamomile, and Aloe Vera, and you have a powerhouse of a shaving tool!  EMJ can be found at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and Target and is usually priced between $5-$8.

How To Use:
-Squeeze a little of the crème on to your hand.
-Massage gently (with the tips of your fingers) into your face and beard.
-Shave gently with the grain of your facial hair.
-Rinse.
-Repeat steps and shave against grain for an even smoother shave.
-Apply moisturizer.

I currently use Schick’s hydro 5-blade set for my face and I finish my shave with Paris for men after-shave and moisturizer from Bath and Body Works.

I definitely recommend this product for all your shaving needs!

Stay fresh. Stay awesome.

Korina's May Favorites.

May has been a SUPER busy month. Dillon's little brother graduated, my 23rd birthday, Dillon started a new job....just ugh! So much! It has gone by so fast. But I obviously didn't let that stop me from loving things beauty, fashion, books, movies and all that jazz!
So, here are all the things I have been loving this month:

Makeup:
1. Naked Basics by Urban Decay
2. NARS Loves NY by Nars
3. Juicy Papaya Lip Butter by Revlon
4. Sexy Mother Pucker by Soap and Glory
5. Real Techniques Brushes

Naked Basics is this great matte palette with six great neutral shades. Simple as that.

The Nars palette was actually a Birthday present from Dillon (Thanks love!). Its my go-to when I need to travel. Four great shadows that compliment each other. I can do a day and night look quick and easy. And a blusher and bronzer! You basically get a whole face in one palette. Its so pretty. Ugh.

Juicy Papaya is my "my lips but better" lip color. I found it this month and it has not left my bag since. For those natural days where I just want something moisturizing and easy, this is it. Don't need a mirror, just pop it on and I am good to go. Looks great. And you cannot beat the price!

Sexy Mother Pucker (how clever is that name!?)
is so so so pretty for the summer time! Bright pink, but more balmy then a regular lipstick. And when it applies it adds its own gloss. No need to bring a separate gloss with you! Its the semi-sheer glossy wonderful stick of pretty! And its smells AMAZING!

And for the brushes. I picked these up at the end of April and haven't used anything else since. They are the nicest brushes I have ever used. They apply like a dream! No shedding, applies evenly and flawlessly. And they are SO affordable! I cannot get enough of them! I own almost all of them and would rather have these then some of my high-end ones. Just can't say enough wonderful things about them. And they were created by a beauty guru on youtube...how great is that!?

Hair Products:
1. Beauty Protector Heat Spray
2. Moroccan Argan Oil
3. Loreal Magenta Hair Dye

The Heat Protector in question is like a saving grace. Not only does it protect from heat..and for me its amazing since I heat style almost everyday. But it's also a leave in conditioner and detangler. Amazingly it doesn't make my hair greasy either, which most things like this do. So it's a winner for sure.

The moroccan oil, does the same as all moroccan oils, I just really happen to like this brand because it matches my shampoo and conditioner. haha. But I just put it on my ends, which are so dry and limp. It makes them nice and shiny and not look as fried as they usually do.

Recently I decided to ombre my hair. I didn't want to do the blond thing since my hair is not that long, didn't want something so drastic. So, I got this Magenta hair dye...looks more maroon. I love it. So cute and fun!

Bag/Accessory:
City Bag from Zara

You can literally put everything in this bag. Its got so many compartments. There is a padded section for your laptop and ipad. With plenty of room for the rest of your junk. I carry my life in my purse so this bag is like my favorite thing ever!

Scent:
Paris Amour by Bath and Body Works

I wear this almost every single day. So nice and florally! Give it a spritz next time your at your Bath and Body Works.

Nail Polish:
Glow Stick by Orly

The color is exactly how it's named...a glow stick! It is highlighter yellow, and so bright that it seems to glow in the dark. But perfect for summer!

And now for some random favorites!

Snack:
Ants on a log! Yummmm

Or, to people who don't think they are still 5, celery with peanut butter and raisins. So good! And healthy... and I don't usually do heathy!

Creative Outlet:
Wreck This Journal

Still have more "wrecking" to do, but I take this sucker with me everywhere! You an open to any page, follow the instructions and have a blast. It keeps me creative and my mind going. which is nice since I am no longer in school and have no creative outlet along those lines.

Game:
Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 and 5-7. Beat 100% woot woot!

Dillon and I usually don't play video games together, but I got mono this month and spent a lot of time just being a couch potato. So we spent most this month beating one of the few games that is mine, Lego Harry Potter. I have never played a game with someone else and it was so fun. We laughed a lot, stayed up far too late and acted like we were 16 again. Not to mention Harry Potter is pretty much our favorite thing ever next to Disney, so this just made it a thousand times better!
Movie:
Anonymous (Side Note: Jamie Campbell Bower...Swoon!)

This movie is about the theory that William Shakespeare did not write his plays. I wont go into too much detail since I am planning on doing a review, but as a someone with a theatre degree, this was such a good watch. I found it so interesting, and Jamie Campbell Bower is not hard to look at!
Arrested Development

It is no secret that this show FINALLY came back to Netflix. AND ON MY BIRTHDAY! So, we have been watching, and laughing ever since. We are so excited its back even if it is only just for this season.

Random:
The Mortal Instruments: Parallel Worlds Box by NYX.

Cute little makeup box set in anticipation of the upcoming City of Bones movie. I am totally obsessed with all the Mortal Instruments...don't judge me! The makeup is super cute and I have been using it ever since I got it. Just a fun little thing for the movie where you can recreate the looks from two of the females in the movie.

Book:
The Mortal Instruments Series

Ugh. I cannot in a little blurb explain these books and how much I love them. They are teen novels...I am going to go ahead and throw that out there. But I have read them all in less then two months. I will be doing a full review on them soon, but I had to include them in my May favorites!

So, these are all my May favorites! I will be doing reviews and such on some of these things in the future. But I wanted to give you a quick run down of all the things I am loving this month!!

What have you been enjoying this month? I love knowing, I am so nosey and love trying new things =]
