Five simple (and inexpensive) grooming tips that men often forget.

-->

It's easy to keep yourself well groomed. It just takes dedication to the routine  Here are five super simple grooming habits to think about next time you're getting ready:

- Cleaning out your ears:

It's really important to keep your ears clean because it can help make them look more attractive. Make sure to clean your ears out once a week and no more because over cleaning can do damage to your ears.  Wax is important, just not chunks of it!

- Wearing lip balm.
This one is straightforward really. Wear lip balm.  Go for Burt's Bees replenishing lip balm. It's a natural product that doesn't have any harsh additives that could cause your lips to keep cracking.

- Keeping your hands clean.
Regardless of where you work keeping your hands clean is a must! Keep your fingernails (and toe-nails!) neatly trimmed. Buy a small kit to help keep your nails trimmed. Also moisturize with lotion to keep your hands feeling smooth and unchafed.

-Washing your face.
Many men shampoo, condition, and use body wash but they often forget a crucial part of the grooming routine: washing their face.  St Ives makes an Exfoliating Apricot scrub that is inexpensive and works well to dig deep and helps to buff out black heads and blemishes. Pair that with Noxzema
Original deep cleansing cream and you've got a system that works!  This cream creates a rich foam and smells great as it works its magic. The cream leaves your face feeling refreshed and moisturized.  Do this every other day and you'll start to notice an immediate freshness to your face, and so will others...

-Wearing deodorant and cologne.
Probabl
y the most important piece here! Wear deodorant.  We are men and we have a tendency to do awesome things to get our sweat going: (Lumber jacking, sword fighting, really intense games of chess with computers, and what ever else you can pack into your day).  Give Dove for men a try!  They come in a multitude of scents all of which are mellow enough to be paired with many different colognes. If you sweat profusely Dove, Old-Spice, and Degree all make clinical strength deodorants to help you out-wit sweat. Don't be ashamed of picking these up! You're simply a man taking charge!  When it comes to colognes put away the aerosol can of axe.  Expect to spend a little money on a solid cologne. Bath and body works makes a whole line of colognes for men (all just under $40). My favorites being: Noir and twilight woods for men. Those not your style, there are plenty more to choose from to fit you and your body well!
